Hiring Our Services

  1. How do I organise to hire Pearse Photography?
    Contact us with the details of your photographic needs.
    We will give you a free no obligation quote.
    You will then realise the exceptional value we offer.

Browsing The Website

  1. How long will the photos from my event be on the website?
    For most events we will try and keep them on the site for at least 6 months and normally 8 months. We will advise differently in the event folder should it be only a short time. If you have not ordered after 8 months we probably think you will not be ordering so we remove them to save storage space on the website.

  2. Can I view images from an event that was on your website but is no longer?
    We keep all the photos that are displayed on the website. If your event is no longer displayed on the website then please contact us to have your photos redisplayed. There will be a fee for re-hosting that will be incorporated into the pricing of items for those particular albums.

  3. I don't have a password.
    Some folders are password protected. If you don’t have a password and wish to gain access to the album please utilise the contact details provided.

Ordering Photos

  1. What type of paper are the photos printed on?
    We use a professional photo lab who prints on photographic paper using a Matte Finish.

  2. What are digital photos and what do I do with them?
    Digital photos are photos taken on our professional digital cameras. Instead of ordering the print of the photo you order the digital photo (i.e. the negative equivalent in film). We do the necessary retouching and email you the file to print as many times as you like at 6x9” or smaller.
    For best quality prints all you need to do is copy the file to a CD or other recordable device and take it to your local photo lab for processing. If this seems too difficult then you can always forward your email with the photo attached to someone else who is more familiar with this technology and procedure.


  3. Is your website secure for Credit Cards?
    Yes it is, we have a fully secure website for all Credit Card transactions.

Gift Certificates

  1. What is a gift certificate?
    A Pearse Photography Gift Certificate is the best solution when you can't decide on a photo to buy someone. With a Pearse Photography Gift Certificate, you can let them decide. Gift Certificates are purchased just like any other item in our store.

  2. How do I purchase a gift certificate?
    Gift Certificates are purchased just like any other item in our store.

    -From the menu at the top of the screen select ‘Gift Certificates’.

    -Select the value of your gift certificate from the drop-down menu. Click ‘add’.

    -Note you can only order one gift certificate at a time.

    -Follow the four steps of the standard purchase procedure and confirm final payment.

    -A confirmation screen will display your order and include a unique 8 digit Gift Certificate code.

    - Note this code will also be emailed to you.

    - Now you can use what ever method you choose to forward the gift certificate code on to the intended recipient (e.g. write it into a birthday card, email it etc)

  3. How do I redeem a gift certificate?
    To redeem your Gift Certificate simply enter your Gift Certificate Code into the field provided in Step 1 of the checkout procedure.

  4. What if my Gift certificate is a higher value than my purchase value?
    Unfortunately you need to use the whole amount of the gift certificate in one purchase. There is no way of carrying forward the balance to the next purchase.

  5. What if my purchase amount is higher than my Gift Certificate value?
    In this case the website will ascertain the amount outstanding after the gift certificate has been applied and charge you only for that amount.

Delivery

  1. How long will it take for my prints to arrive?
    Your photos will take approximately 2 weeks to arrive. Please be aware that at busy times of the year postal service can be delayed (i.e. Christmas and holiday periods) Often you will receive your prints earlier than 2 weeks. Please make an effort to contact us for faster delivery times and deadlines - we will do what we can.

  2. How much is postage and Handling?
    Postage and Handling is $5.00 for all Cd's & prints regardless of size and qty.
    Emailed photos also attract this $5.00 fee per order to cover the time spent preparing and processing images for sending.

  3. What postage method do you use?
    We use Australia Post.
