...of life they say and here at Pearse Photography we have had nothing but that the past few months. There are some exciting prospects for the new year too with a couple of expressions of interest at the table with a large NSW sporting associations and a kids photography side project being launched called "Hundreds and Thousands".

 Hundreds and Thousands - Kids Photography

A side project for Pearse Photography focusing on kids! This is a lot more fun than I would of ever expected! Having the chance to hang out with mums and their kids for a couple of hours has been refreshing in so many ways. They're nearlly all cute, they dont care much for the camera and they act in the most uncontrived manner..We will let you know when the new website is up and running sometime in the new year!

Recent Projects Include

Water Polo- National 16 & Under National Water Polo Championships

In October Pearse Photography travelled to Perth to photograph the championships as part of its national contract to Australian Water Polo Inc The Championships were a huge success and we managed to get some great shots of the boys and girls in action competing for their respective states. We were particularly thankful for the outdoors locations and overcast skies that allowed for ideal light conditions. This was the last of four national age championships for 2008.

Winestream - Wine Odyssey Promotional Shoot

PR Comapany Winestream commissioned us to photograph the interiors of the lavishly new and unique premises that are Wine Odyssey. Check out the link to understand more about what makes Wine Odyssey an experience like no other.

Charity Events - Donating Photographic Services

Pearse Photography took to the streets for the NSW Cancer Council on Daffodil Day and photographed their mascot  Dougal Bear braving the wet weather along with some of the 5000 volunteers!

Australian Touch Football - National Squad Training Camp and Sponsors Promotion

The Australian National Touch Football squad had a training week down at the NSW Institute of Sport and we were commissioned to photograph the whole group infront of their Australian Sport Commission Banner (Major Sponsor) we were also required to take a few promo shots for their sponsor BSc.

Tooheys New Shute Shield - Sydney Club Rugby

Sydney's Premier Club rugby competition concluded in Mid-September with Sydney University successfully defending the championship they have come to dominate. Randwick were no match for a team stacked full of big name players and up and comers.

Darley Stud - Horse Conformation Photographs

Work has commenced on the Darley Stud commission to photograph their horse stocks for use on the Sheikh's private website. We have photographed roughly 100 horses and have another few hundred to go. The process of getting the horses to stand in a particular 'conformation' is a timely process and everybody needed to show some patience as the handler trys to get their legs in a certain position and then with any luck their mouth shut and their ears pricked up and forward. A horses conformation determines how well it can perform the functions asked of it.
