Merry Xmas

NFL - Buffalo Bills 

With a trip this Xmas to my in-laws home in western New York came the opportunity to photograph the local NFL team, the Buffalo Bills and all the legendary "tailgating" that comes with it. Put simply "tailgating" is the custom of eating and drinking in the car park of a sporting venue before the match. The Buffalo Bills are annually rated as the top 'tailgaters' in the NFL.

Above: What you are looking at is the legendary Buffalo Bills "tailgating" at its best.  Fans brave the sub-zero temperatures to feast on BBQ treats and revel in the pre-game atmosphere. Pictured above is the legendary 'Red Pinto', the locals grill ON the hood of the red Ford Pinto. Some of what you can see is chicken on an axle heated by coals in a toolbox, bacon sizzling on a handsaw, Coleslaw served in a hubcap and more chicken cooking on the head of a rake!

Above: the converted US Postal van "Illegal Motion" operates an unlicensed bar for locals to skip inside for a quick shot of something blue or red.

Recent Projects Include

Bianca Burrows - Oxygen Magazine Shoot 
Sports model Bianca Burrows commissioned Pearse Photography to capture her athletic beauty for inclusion in the December issue of Oxygen Magazine. The shoot was a lot of fun and Bianca was very happy with the results, as were we!

Wedding Bells - Emma & Alex 
Emma and Alex engaged Pearse Photography to photograph their wedding after meeting with many local Camden photographers and not feeling satisfied with their intentions. They felt that the photographers they had met were more interested in the prizes their wedding could win them than listening to what Emma and Alex really wanted from their day.

WATER POLO - 16s National Championships
Pearse Photography travelled to Brisbane to photograph the National 16 & Under Water Polo Championships. It was the largest of these championships we have covered since being awarded the contract in 2007. We have recently renewed the contract for the 2010 season including the National Water Polo League that runs from February to April showcasing the best of Australian water polo across the country.

KINGSWOOD - Matt & Belinda

 Matt Field gave me a call a couple of days before he said goodbye to his beloved Kingswood. We didn't have great weather forecast for the day of the shoot so I told Matt and his girlfriend they should meet me at Clovelly car park at 5.30am for a chance to get some glimpse of sun before it got behind the clouds for the day. We were lucky and it came out for about 3 minutes! A beautiful wagon and a very fun pair to shoot!
